THE AMBASSADOR OF CHRIST

As Christ’s ambassadors, we are called to spread the Gospel and represent Christ wherever we go. A child of God without revelation cannot be effectively used by God. Without divine revelation of God’s will, plans, and purpose for our lives, we may end up guessing, copying, or following the path of others. God desires to partner with us, and revelation is how He reveals His purpose and directs us on what to do.

Key Points

1. The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me :
Jesus Christ was empowered by the Holy Spirit to fulfil His divine assignment. So also, we should allow the Holy Spirit to empower us for our assignment.

2. God has anointed Jesus Christ to preach good tidings (Acts 10:38) :
Jesus  Christ was sent to preach the Gospel and do good. we should preach the Gospel and share God’s love with others.

3. To heal the brokenhearted.

4. To proclaim liberty to the captives and open the prison doors : Jesus Christ came to bring freedom and deliverance. So also, we should help others experience true freedom through Christ.

5. To stand for those who cannot help themselves and comfort them :

Jesus Christ came to defend, strengthen, and comfort the weak.

6. To wipe away tears and give joy — Jesus  Christ came to bring restoration, peace, and joy. So also, we should be instruments of joy, comfort, and restoration to others.
